The second make-up recipe was actually a savory recipe rather than a dessert. So, I paired it with dinner (pan-fried tilapia and roasted broccolini). It was a great compliment to both the fish and the vegetable. The only complaint was that the muffins were too crumbly.

I loved these guys and have made them a few times. I like your make up Mondays idea. At this point I am just trying to get caught up with the ones I have missed recently.

I remember liking those muffins, I'll have to make them again.
Oh, and if you want a great "nominee" for a make-up, try the pecan sour cream biscuits. I made them for a family gathering and everyone REALLY liked them. (I even screwed up the order of adding things in the recipe and they still turned out really good.)
